Oliver is getting to be such a big boy! He goes down all the big kid slides and can climb just about anything! He keeps up with big sister Sophie just fine, but I have trouble keeping up with him! :)

Ollie & Alex (a little love for kitty)

Alex is our oldest and sweetest kitty, and he has been so wonderful and gentle with Ollie (even when Ollie wanted to pull his tail or pound on him)... But now Oliver is so sweet and loving with Alex- it's really very beautiful. This last photo is my favorite- it really captures what a tender moment this was. Alex is 17 years old now, but still as young as ever. We hope he will be with us for many more years to come~

Grandpa Elliot comes to visit!

After Ollie's re-adoption, Grandpa Elliot (Pappy) came to visit & have dinner with us. The minute my dad walked in, Ollie ran up to him and gave him a big kiss- it was so cute! We all love you, Pappy! :)

Ollie's Re-adoption Day!

Daddy, Sophie & Mommy all swearing to love and always take care of Ollie Baby!

Yes, we needed that tissue- it was a very special day! :)

Not only did the Judge give Ollie one of his infamous teddy bears, he also gave Sophie Lu another one (she still has hers from her re-adoption)!

And the Judge once again inviting us back to pose for a photo with him. He really is the sweetest!

So wer'e done, Ollie! You are officially ours again! We love you very very much and can't imagine our lives without you! Pretty soon you will be a big brother, and you will have yet another person who loves and adores you! Happy Re-adoption Day!!!

Ollie Goes to the Zoo!

We recently took Ollie to the zoo for the very first time! I tried to get a photo of Ollie and Daddy in front of the zoo sign, but I recently dropped my little camera (not my new one which is too big to take to the zoo), and many of my photos came out blurry. But, I love the above photo of Ollie & his "do"! His hair had gotten really long, so I moussed it in a semi faux-hawk- I think he looks so cute!

Like his sister, I think Ollie's favorite part was the petting zoo. He didn't smile much but was very observant and interested in the goats!

And pulling their ears!

See the giraffes? Well moments later, a naughty group of teens decided to break the rules and feed them. The giraffes were very close to the fence, so we were able to get a photo with a giraffe right in back of us!

We had such a great time- I can't wait to take Ollie Baby back to the zoo!

About Ollie

Ollie is almost 16 months old! He is walking and running (mostly running), and is almost always smiling! He's not really talking much, but I think since he walked so early- his speech will come later. He calls me VaVa (Mama) and he is very good at saying DaDa! He is such a happy baby- really such a sweet boy!

He recently had his 15 month checkup, and he is 50th percentile weight (he weighs 25 pounds) and is 75th percentile in height! He is one big handsome boy! And he is ALL boy- I still can't believe how different boys and girls are... he is super active even when he gets hurt only wants to be snuggled for a minute and then he's off and running again! And laughing... Ollie is always laughing (he's got the cutest little laugh, too)!

We love you, Ollie Baby!!!

Ollie's Christmas shoot (& Christmas card photo)

This is one of my very favorite photos of our handsome Ollie! I just wish I coud get more photos of him! He is soooo active and quick- he doesn't like to sit still for a second! It reminds me of that old cartoon "Ricochet Rabbit" (bing bing bing) bouncing off walls- lol! I guess that makes the few photos I do get of him (and not the back of him running off) so priceless to me!

Surpisingly, the hat stayed on for a few minutes!

Ollie & Santa (& the Christmas Tree Lot)

As you can see, Ollie was not a fan of Santa! He didn't even last long enough on Santa's lap for the photographer to click his camera, so I ended up having to sit with him. And so we have a crying Ollie & Santa photo... I'm sure it will be useful in the years to come! (Poor Sophie Lu was so horrified at the sight of Santa, that she ran screaming across the mall & Michael had to take her away- so no photo of Sophie & Santa this year)... ;)

Not the best photo of any of us, but this was Ollie's first trip to pick out a Christmas Tree! The tree we (Sophie) chose is the one on the right. Ollie had a great time running around all the trees- he is so active and SO fast! Now that the tree is decorated, it's hard to keep him from destroying it (ahhhh boys)- I don't know who is worse... Ollie or all three cats combined!

Anyone know the secret to photographing a lit up Christmas Tree?

Ollie Rides a Tricycle!

After we got home from the pumpkin patch, we decided to play outdoors with the kids. Usually, we have races: Sophie rides her tricycle and one of us pulls Ollie in the wagon. But this time, we thought we'd see if Ollie would enjoy riding his own "tricycle". He didn't seem to understand what to do...

...until proud big sister Sophie came along to explain things to him!

Then he finally got the hang of it!

And he was so proud of himself (of course, we were proud too)! Ollie's such a big boy now!
