Ollie Bear!

Not only did I have a bunny suit, but I had a bear suit Ollie was almost too big for... When I saw it at Baby Gap last year, I couldn't resist it since one of our nicknames for Oliver is "Ollie Bear"!

While going through Ollie's dresser the other day, I found this darling bunny suit that I had planned on Ollie wearing for Easter. Since we weren't with him on Easter, I decided that he should wear it now before he outgrew it. And he was SO cute crawling around in it- little cotton tail and all!

Okay, Mom... I wore the silly bunny suit for you. Now you want me to put on another animal suit? Seriously... are you talkin' to ME?? :)

Ollie is looking at his super-fun big sister, Amy! I was so glad Amy came to my Grandpa's party... it was wonderful having her there (both kids adore her), and she was a huge help to us (Thanks again, Amy)!

Ollie Meets Great-Grandpa Orville!

I'm so thankful that Ollie came home in time for his Great-Grandpa Orville's 90th birthday party at our house! Great-Grandpa Orville and Great-Grandma Bettie were very excited to meet Oliver (who was named in part because Oliver has the same letters as Orville). My favorite photo of the day is the one of my Grandpa kissing Ollie on the head- so very very sweet! Stay tuned for photos of Ollie riding the ponies!

Ollie Meets Grandpa Elliot!

Grandpa Elliot (my dad) aka "Pappy" came to meet Oliver! Here is a photo of my dad when he was a baby (I came across it while working on my Grandpa's video)... it's funny- but I think there is a resemblance!

Ollie has mastered crawling! (video)

Somehow, Ollie went from not being able to crawl to "Go Speed Racer" crawling expert! His crawling just cracks me up- the way he plops his hands down with such deliberation... So here he is crawling in our still empty formal living room (I really do need to have it decorated by Christmas) crawling like crazy! (btw- I didn't want to let him crawl on the hard wood floors for fear of hurting his knees- but then my mom, Michael, etc. told me, "That's why babies are 'fat-kneed'!" LOL In any case, it doesn't seem to bother him! :)
