About Ollie

Ollie is almost 16 months old! He is walking and running (mostly running), and is almost always smiling! He's not really talking much, but I think since he walked so early- his speech will come later. He calls me VaVa (Mama) and he is very good at saying DaDa! He is such a happy baby- really such a sweet boy!

He recently had his 15 month checkup, and he is 50th percentile weight (he weighs 25 pounds) and is 75th percentile in height! He is one big handsome boy! And he is ALL boy- I still can't believe how different boys and girls are... he is super active even when he gets hurt only wants to be snuggled for a minute and then he's off and running again! And laughing... Ollie is always laughing (he's got the cutest little laugh, too)!

We love you, Ollie Baby!!!

What a beautiful picture!! He's soo handsome and cute! That must be a joy for you to see him running everywhere. (It must make you tired to run after him sometimes though LOL)

Shana,

Ollie sounds just like JP! JP will not hold still for pictures...it's so frustrating!

Ollie looks so grown up in that picture---he's gorgeous!!

About the talking thing---JP just turned 17 months. He is JUST NOW saying words that you can understand. In my experience with children, if they walk and are mobile all over the place, they talk later. If they talk sooner, they are less mobile. It'll come!

Oh, Shana, I love this pictue of your handsome little man. He looks so much like his daddy! I just know that when Ollie Baby starts talking he is going to be singing Dean Martin songs... He just looks like a little crooner. hehee
I laughed about the difference from boys and girls..... you are sooooooooooooo right!!!lol
I hope you are feeling better.
God Bless you

Oh Shana,
He is so handsome! A far cry from the little baby you brought home! I totally agree ~ boy are SO SO SO different from girls! Funny thing is, Ian is my snuggle guy who is a total pleaser and Li Li is my rough and tumble girl (but make no doubt about it - girlie girl) Li Li just started asking for kisses when she get a boo boo, probably because she say Maisie do it - LOL!
You are very blessed to have such wonderful children, I am sure you thank God for them every day :D

Oh my gosh, I can't believe he is almost 16 months old! Seems like just yesterday you were posting his referral pics :)
My youngest son was the same way, very quick to walk but talked a lot later on. We always joked that his first words were going to be a sentence long because he was so serious and contemplative!
That picture of Ollie is adorable! He's going to be a heartbreaker one day :)

Oliver is soOOoooOOoOoOO handsome :)

He looks so grownup, and his hair looks so much better now.

He reminds me of my son Sweet Baby Danny Boy a LOT :) He is 12 months old, and is as big as Ollie Bear.

What a handsome gorgeous little boy Oliver is!! I had to gasp, my Bree is 9 mos old and her checkup this past Thursday , she weighed in a 25lbs! Ollie is 6mos older than her! I guess girls/boys are different as you stated, that's one little girl who is ALWAYS ON THE GO, an "owie" only stops her for a few seconds and she is back on the go!! Can you say ENERGIZER BUNNY times 10!!!

THAT PICTURE IS GORGEOUS! He is so handsome!
I couldn't agree with you more on the boy-girl differences! And the talking will come with time! I think the really active children are too busy playing, running, and taking it all in! This is NOT a blanket statement for all children - just my personal experience! He will be telling YOU "No!" in no time...oh and the "Why?" phase too!
He is so beautiful! Just perfect!

he looks like such a little man. and a gorgeous man at that!
julian also is running and not talking (except for noooooo). i think that also has to do with the language shift for them as well when they come home.

Hear that all boy thing. It is mind boggling how different the genders can be. Sometimes I feel like I need to be cloned to keep up with Keenan. Keenan is very focused on his physical skills and is not saying much beyond mama and dad although that is just starting to change the past couple of weeks. Of course, most of the time, I have little idea of what he is trying to say, but I'm sure it will come in time.

I love the new photos of Ollie. He is just such an adorable little boy. Love the new hairdo!

He is adorable!!! Yes boys are so different from girls. Having raised four boys I used to laugh at people that would tell me that boys and girls were different because all four of my boys were so different I thought it was a personality thing and not a female/male thing. Now that I have two girls I get it! LOL
